The AM AM is undoubtedly one of the most popular events of our golfing calendar.  It is a team event of three Stratford players and one amateur. The team of three can be any combination of full playing Stratford members. The competition comprises 2 shotgun starts, one at 8.30am and one at 1.30pm.  The competition is medal format with two scores to count on each hole. The prizes are awarded for the overall event, NOT for the individual shotgun.

Booking will be ONLINE and will open at 6.30pm on 28th June 2025. The entrance fee is £20 per person, you can book your team members in and the entry fee will be taken from your individual competitions account on Sunday 27th July 2025. You will also be able to select the tee you wish to start from.

When you book online you will see that the fourth team member slot is reserved.  This is for the amateur you will be playing as part of your team.  Selection of that amateur will take place on Monday 28th July 2025 at 6.30pm at the club so at least one member of your team must attend on that evening to decide the choice of your amateur. If no member of your team attends, you will be allocated an amateur by the competition administrator.

There will be a one course meal following your game, the price of which is included in your entry fee. There will also be a raffle  - tickets will be available to purchase at registration on the day.  The success of the raffle is dependant on members donating prizes.  You can take prizes to the office in the week before the event. Please do support this, as surplus proceeds of this event go to the Captain’s Charity.  

Team prizes are awarded with other prizes being awarded for nearest the pin, longest drive and best amateur.  Prize giving will be around 7.00pm on the day.  Please attend if you are in the prizes – you will be given a mobile number to check.
